Jump into Season 5 here...

Britt and Chris guffaw at Victorian pigman Sir Effingham III, Penny not reading the fineprint, and the magic of Eliot and Margo back together again. They also explore the themes of responsibility and volunteer tomatoes, and think through the POVs of Professor Penny and post-Monster Eliot.

Britt and Chris have a blast discussing The Wrath of the Time Bees, including kid-Quentin, Eliot's mourning attire, and time-traveling (+ talking) royal honey bees. They also explore the themes of grief, using crutches, and letting go, and sit in the POVs of Alice, Eliot, and Margo.

In the midst of The Mountain of Ghosts dealing with some serious matters, Britt and Chris are still laughing about Yellow Ferret Month, double-werewolves, and of course freshly baked cookies that are necessary for brainstorming the overthrow a 300-year long dictatorship. They also discuss pilgrimages and the Sisyphean nature of grief before sitting with the POVs of backpacker Eliot and centurion contestant Margo.

For Magicians Anonymous, Britt and Chris delight over Eliot's flirtations, lying foxes, Visigoths, and Kady and Fogg's bunny hop through the Etheric Realm. 🐰🕶️  They also discuss themes of leadership and wanting to be done, and the POVs of Zelda, Penny, and Eliot.

This week is all things harmonic convergence, and Britt and Chris delight over moon brain, Josh squirting people with a mini water gun, Oren Westbrooke (need we say more?), and the always epic return of Marina. They also discuss the themes of harmony and facing personal demons, and the POVs of Margo, Kady, and Penny.

For Oops!...I Did It Again, Britt and Chris have a blast talking about whale magicians, the return of Charleton, and the magic that is Margo+Eliot! They also discuss themes of trust and letting go of control, as well as the POVs of Permananced Eliot and apocalyptic pizza chef Josh.

Due to kitty shenanigans, Britt and Chris have a special non-episode episode exploring the questions that Penny 23 wrestles with in Season 5: When do you get to be done? When do you save the world enough?

Britt and Chris discuss Todd todding everything up, Fogg 17, the amazing Eliot-Charleton relationship, and scapegoater Bick's bigotry. They also explore the POVs of Dean Penny and World-Saver Julia and the tension they experience as responsibilities pull them in different directions.

For Garden Variety Homicide, Britt and Chris have too much to talk about, so they split their conversations into two parts. In Part I, they discuss the amazing Freaky Friday body-swap, the growth in Margo and Eliot's friendship, Julia's Red Monkey Month pregnancy, and Fungus AI™️seeking the World Seed.

In Part II, they explore the theme of following instincts, of personal desires VS responsibilities, and of letting grief be a part of you. They also jump into the POVs of the body-swappers: Eliot, Margo, and Charleton!

Britt and Chris are back with lots of laughs as Hyman returns, Eliot attracts everyone, and Margo pulls a gun from a cookie jar.  They also discuss Penny and Plum in 1920's Brakebills and ideas of sacrifice and brokenness. The POVs they explore in this episode are of Margo and Plum Chatwin.

For Purgatory, Britt and Chris laugh over so many Magic Moments that include Benedict's friendship fanart, Fogg teaching a magical intercourse course, and Margo having a flashdrive in her jello hole. They also discuss themes of not saying everything is okay and of who should hold power, and explore the POVs of Penny and Julia.

For Be the Hyman, Britt and Chris delight in the return of Marina (good version), Hyman (corporeal version), and Ember (emanation version). They also discuss Fen's journey, stories where heroes act like villains, and the POVs of isolated Hyman and tired Eliot.

Britt and Chris laugh over all the shenanigans that go into combining big musical numbers with a heist...and Marina. They also discuss the themes of unity and not giving up, as well as the POVs of Alice, Penny, and his mom Neela.

For Fillory and Further, Britt and Chris delight over many magic moments of the final episode, including Hyman getting blistered, Margo eating a sandwich, Fogg needing a cat, and the gang enjoying an early Christmas. They also explore the new state of the universe post-apocalypse-thwarting.

Britt and Chris think back over the entire amazing series, exploring where characters land at the end and their powerful journeys along the way. They also discuss some of the great through lines and how the show achieved its mission.

In a final Magicians episode, Britt and Chris have fun with a little Q & A and then sort the series' main characters into Hogwarts Houses!
