The New Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes Podcast!

Updated: Jul 10, 2020

To take a break from our normal Hunger Games book analysis, we're launching a new miniseries that looks at The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes book by Suzanne Collins. Over the next 10 weeks, we'll be a book club podcast discussing 3-4 chapters per episode and host extra discussions online! There will be 3 episodes each on Part I, II, and III of the book and then a final episode to close out our miniseries.

In our first episode, we dive into Chapters 1-3 of this fascinating Hunger Games prequel. We explore our first impressions, what in these chapters connects to the real world, what resonates with the original Hunger Games trilogy, and what the book is making us ponder moving forward. You can listen to this first podcast episode right here:

Songbirds & Snakes - Chapters 1-3 29:40
