Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes Review - Final Podcast Episodes on Chapters 21-30!

Updated: Aug 9, 2022

We've had a truly incredible time and enjoyed many profound moments analyzing the new Hunger Games book The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes in our podcast miniseries. If you haven't listened to any of our episodes yet, you can click here for our first 3 episodes on Part I and here for our 3 episodes on Part II.

We've now jumped in to analyzing Part III: The Peacekeeper and will finish with a full Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes review for our final episode.

Our first look at Part III discusses Chapters 21-23, talking about the Covey's songs, military conscription, Capitol attitudes towards district poverty, and the US being the Capitol in the real world. We also wonder how Coriolanus' military service is going to take him further on the road to becoming President Snow, cringe at possible violent ends for Sejanus, and so much more. Give it and our other final episodes a listen below!
