Hello - Britt here! (If you don't know this reference, it's time for you to Airbender. Like right now.)
So, a little about me... I am a queer, disabled, Japanese + white American person (they/she) who often has a dark edge to my humor. During the day, I work as a freelance copywriter and try to manage chronic fatigue and pain.
In addition to the geeky series our podcast covers, I love doing creative writing and enjoying spoken word, cats, (good) musicals, new ideas and places, and going to lectures like a good Ravenclaw. I have a particularly deep space in my soul for social issues related to gender, ability, exploitation, race, pacifism, sustainability, and the place where environmentalism and nonviolence converge in veganism.
Hi, it's Chris (he/him)! I am an educator and historian, teaching at community colleges and universities in Southern California.
I've been deeply involved in geek culture since a very young age and have a particular love of Marvel comics, video games, board and tabletop games, and all kinds of nerdy nonsense.

As a cisgendered, white-presenting American man, I also work to understand and challenge systems of hierarchy and oppression, and be critical of my place in them. I've learned and laughed (and even cried) from the many podcasts I've been a fan of, and it's really meaningful to try to bring those themes into our own!
